The club meets monthly at 12 noon on a Saturday or Sunday. See schedule for dates/times.

Entry fees for regular tournaments are: $60 for Expert, $30 for Intermediate/Novice.

Entry Fees for the Sunday 'Bonus Point' events are $100 for Expert, $50 for Intermediate/Novice.

Membership

Membership is now free to locals! Membership includes a subscribtion to the club newsletter Anchors.
 

Skill Brackets

The New England Backgammon Club features three levels of play in its tournaments.
`Expert'
This is the strongest bracket. Players in this bracket range from strong intermediate to world class.
`A'
This is the intermediate or advanced bracket.
`B'
This is the novice and beginner bracket. The novice bracket and intermediate brackets are often consolidated for monthly tournaments.

Anchors

Anchors is the newsletter of the New England Backgammon Club. It is generally published monthly, except July. Anchors ranges 2-8 pages, two devoted to local news with the remaining pages dedicated to analytical material and backgammon related stories with minimal advertising.

A Subscription is free with an NEBC membership, otherwise:

               USA/Canada/Mexico: $20/year.
               $30/year elsewhere (check drawn on a U.S. bank).
